[ Whether or not Minato gets his memory back by trial depends on if I want to nap on Saturday or not.

Minato lets his eyelids fall closed, one hand up to push back his bangs and—- he takes the headband off his head for the first time in 4 weeks, because why is he wearing this? ]

Sounds complicated... Dunno what brings memory back, though. Usually it's time, or a shunt, or familiar things to trigger the memory. Depending on the sort of memory loss.

[ she just sounds sad again. ]

.....How many days do I have left before the weekend?

It's late Tuesday right now. Something... usually happens by Friday, but it's Saturday when we really have to work.

[ she's not sure how to explain people get murdered ]

[ Murder is a problem for future Minato, assuming he's still alive for it. Who knows, maybe he has a brain bleed and will slip into a coma and die, I still have time to decide. ]

That's enough time... No point worrying about it now. Why don't you get some sleep? I will too. And we'll see what tomorrow brings.

[ she'll finish patching up his head?? it's not like. perfect. but at least the bleeding is covered.

[ It doesn't register as his name, but he looks down at Naminé's hand and doesn't hesitate in taking it in his. He has no idea about anything, but... Here is somebody who apologized to him, who took care of him, who obviously cares about him, and if he remembers nothing else in the world, he thinks he'll be fine if all he had was Naminé by his side.

But he should try his best to remember.

Maybe he'll remember he left his bloody headband on Naminé's sink counter and get that back, or Akane would kill him, maybe. ]

but she'll give his hand a gentle squeeze, before tugging him along with her again. at least his roommate is xion, so she won't be that shy about going into his house.

There's a girl named Xion who stays here with you. We all have roommates. She's very nice, but... you should explain that it was an accident that made you forget things. She might react badly otherwise.

...Yeah. I think most people would, if a teammate didn't recognize them. If she's not there when I'm awake... I guess I should leave a note.

[ It'll read: "Car accident. Memory loss. BRB." next to his dead asleep body and then he never comes back. ]

[ since it's her fault this happened so the least she can do is be his babysitter. ]

I'll come check on you though. Xion and I are friends too, so she wouldn't mind me stopping by.

[ Otherwise he won't know anybody? Hilariously, the next person Minato is seeing is Sol, who he'll just assume is Xion. It's fine. ]

[ her expression twitches slightly at his words, and she has to quickly look away from him so that he won't catch she face that she's making. ]

... okay. I'll take care of you, just like I promised.

[ a promise that he can't remember but it's fine ]

[ He doesn't remember shit, yeah, but he wonders if it's really fine, with the way Naminé looks away, the hesitation before she speaks again. She's upset about something, is all he can catch, but he can't know what without context. ]

...Did I do something to make you upset? I'm sorry.

... you're fine. This just feels a little familiar for me.

[ she looks down at their hands. ]

But that's not your fault.

[ He still feels the need to apologize, though, because even though it isn't his fault, he did still make Naminé remember things she probably wouldn't want to. It's sort of like how she apologized, before, for crashing(?) the car, getting him hurt even though she didn't mean to. That sort of guilt that lingers because you feel regret. It's not always a bad thing. It just means they care about one another.

Minato shifts his grip so he can lace his fingers with Naminé's, and gives her hand a squeeze. He doesn't say anything more, but smiles. ]

[ there's a small smile at that, and she lifts their hands up and presses a small kiss to where their fingers are joint together, a little similar to what he had done before.

and then she'll take him back home. ]
