... it depends, I suppose. Father will go to the capitol on occasion. That's where I was, recently. I'm decently acquainted with the King, after a few.... circumstances.

I wasn't allowed to leave the castle in Suiko - the Water Tribe's capitol - for most of my life. It didn't stop me, but I only got to see the other tribes at the fighting tournament every year.

She hides information - including everyone's attempts to combat the darkness weeks ago. But if you really want to know, what pissed me off was the fact that she said that she didn't care about helping during trials anymore if it meant that Minato might not be saved that week Kazuaki died. I can't imagine being friends with anyone who would sacrifice everyone else for one person like that.

I don't trust selfish fools like that.

... I think that other people are probably upset with her, since she made it seem like it was more than just you even if you were the only person she named.

But I don't really care to be used and tossed to the side - if she only cares about one person, then what's the point in trying to earn favor with others? It's dishonest and manipulative.

After that one trial, North came to me after and said that I probably shouldn't tell Akane any more sensitive information. And that it was okay if I stayed as her friend, but she shouldn't be the type I kept close.

If you want to be her friend, then I'm not going to tell you to stop but.... North is pretty smart. I would agree with her.

Some people are just going to be awful - and it might take a big mistake for them to realize that they need to change.

... I've made decisions in the past that put people close to me in harm's way. They nearly died because of me. Making rash decisions and mistakes... I can't fault someone for that. I've done it too.

But people aren't toys or dolls to be cast away... People's lives are important, and they shouldn't be hurt just for existing, just because you might like someone else better.

I can't accept someone like that.
