[ there's a good chance they won't, but even if this ends badly it's still a good way to kill time. there's probably other food they can nab to eat if that happens, so they don't go hungry.

[ It's the process that matter more than the end result, but Minato tries to find things that will go well with anything. Eggs and potatoes it is. Five eggs, and ten potatoes. This may or may not end up more like mashed potato than a soup, but it's fine, he's sure the volume will reduce as they cook. ]
[ as naminé has never really cooked before, and admittedly does not get to eat too many different things, it takes her a little longer to pick something out. she eventually returns with tomatoes and ham.
[ Bless Naminé for choosing the potatoes, because potatoes can be difficult and if you're too slow at it they start to get sticky. Tomatoes just sort of squash everywhere but it's fine if the juice leaks out because it's getting thrown into water anyways. ]
I'll take the tomatoes, then. What kind of soup base do you want? Usually, it's a type of meat, but it can be vegetable too.
