[ Minato lifts his head when he hears her speak up; he is still wearing his black cat ear headband like he had been at the party (Axel has presumably given Naminé one sometime on Thursday but who knows, maybe he wanted four headbands to himself). Unlike at the party, though, Minato doesn't even try to smile, though he waves to Naminé in greeting and approaches. ]
[ He's struck with genuine surprise, because he'd spent his past few days fishing and sewing and believing that more information would come when the time is right. He wouldn't exactly be wrong, either— something big happened, and information would come out of it, but the price was too huge. ]
Mmhm... I'm sure some might be saying 'I told you so.'

I was expecting something too, just from what Sol and Lune were telling us, but I thought it might be something attacking us from the outside or something.

That would make more sense... Something attacking us from the outside is something we could maybe help... But maybe this was from outside too. What do you think?
[ He doesn't want to believe the murderer was one of them, who were all victims of kidnapping; nor does he want to believe it was Sol or Lune, because... No, he has no real reason. Just wants to trust them, like he does everybody else. ]
I'm not sure. Sol and Lune said something about us having to figure out what happened tomorrow. Just going by the... vision? Whatever that was, it would just look like it's some kind of freak accident.

[ Minato will lead the way to the kitchen, where they can sit around with a pot of water and also their thoughts, because that's what keeps coming up and occupying Minato's the entire trek there. Better for himself to eat, or he double wouldn't feel like it tomorrow, and he should make sure Naminé eats something too. ]

[ If it were a stranger who had died, he would feel exactly the same as if he'd seen the ashen face of one of his teammates. He'd feel the same inside: just sort of empty, and numb. ]
Did you two get to be friends? I think you would have really liked him.

Of course there would be regret, not speaking to somebody before they passed, thoughts of "what if"s and "if only"s trying to convince you that something could have changed if things were different. [ Minato slows a little, to pull a small notebook out of his knitted side bag that he has and I never mentioned, he knitted himself a bag because people kept telling him to stop carrying fish in his pockets, and he has a notebook because Axel told him to stop taking notes right on his arm.
Anyways. He flips to a clean page of the notebook and writes at the top "CHICKENS." That should be enough of a reminder, probably. ]
